Rowling’s “Casual Vacancy” Withheld from Foreign Publishers (Rosianna’s LeakyNews article)
The Guardian today reports that foreign publishers will not receive a copy of the manuscript for J.K. Rowling’s highly anticipated novel The Casual Vacancy until the book is published in English on September 27th. This decision comes after foreign publishers in Finland, Italy and Slovenia — among others — have been classed as high risk for piracy.
