I hate it when people answer these sorts of questions by saying they wouldn’t change anything partly because I don’t believe them and partly because if that’s true I am insanely jealous

I thought about this for a long time because it’s hard for me to pick only one thing but I think there would be a lot of improvemets if I could replace my beginning-of-freshman-year-of-high-school-self with my beginning-of-junior-year-of-high-school-self

I bought one of those coke bottle with a name on it yesterday but it said 'Jenna' because they had no Jennys, and I was thinking about how you'd like a coke bottle with your name on it and then I realised that Jenna is sort of a mixture of our names

anja and I have been watching pushing daisies through skype for a while now and she came over today so we could finish it and I made a straweberry pie (for the first time ever I don’t think I’ve ever even eaten pie before) for pie-maker reasons because we are adorable

That pie looks gorgeous, do you still have the recipe? I’ve been watching Pushing Daisies again, and I cannot watch that show without craving pie!

I found the recipe in a magazine but I also tweaked it a bit so this is what I did:

200 g butter, 75 g powdered sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 egg yolk, 250 g flour, a pinch of baking powder - you mix that for the crust, put it in the fridge for about half an hour and then put about 2/3 of it in the greased pan

bake for about 10 mins at 180°C, take out of the oven, put in 500 g of strawberries (cut up in half)

bake for about 15 mins, take out of the oven, add 3 spoons of warm marmelade and then use the 1/3 of dough that’s left to cover it

bake for another 15 mins and voila

I can’t believe I’m writing recipes on tumblr I never saw that coming this feels like ESL homework oh also the crust was rly brittle maybe use granulated sugar idk
